Education

The need for help is greater than ever. HomeAid has launched several initiatives and programs to support homelessness education including a Glossary of Terms, Homelessness Awareness Month, and more.

National Need

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development has released the 2024 Annual Homelessness Assessment Report (AHAR), revealing sobering new data. On a single night in 2024, 771,480 people – or about 23 of every 10,000 individuals in the United States – experienced homelessness. This marks an 18 percent increase from the previous year and the highest number ever recorded, underscoring the urgent need for systemic solutions to this growing crisis.
